| In 1779 Richard Adcock used the Bell and Crown in High Street, near the Kings Head, to sell his metal-ware goods. In September of that year he advertised the sale of all his goods in the Coventry Standard, as his poor health prevented him continuing in the business.
This pub is thought to have been a combination of the BELL and the CROWN, in Broadgate. | |||
