Blacksmiths Arms, Street not known
| The blacksmith was an important member of the community in former times because he made tools in peacetime and weapons in wartime. He was something of a rural aristocrat and those who could ally themselves with a smith were glad to do so.
In 1756, two soldiers were billeted here but we have no information of the address. |
