Previously the CLARENCE this name is purely descriptive. It was supposed to be a good port of call.
In 1982 it was called "a trendy young persons pub, typical M&B 1950s roadside palace". They were a bit out with the date there!
The PORT O' CALL reopened as the OLD CLARENCE in 1991 after a £300,000 facelift. | |||
